kitskitchen™ and Erin Ireland Collaborate to Expand Plant-Based Soup Selection
Vancouver, British Columbia (February 29, 2016) – Vancouver-based kitskitchen™, a start-up health foods company offering organic, locally sourced and health conscious soups and spreads have teamed up with food reporter and To Die For Fine Foods owner Erin Ireland to expand their vegan soup selection.

The result of their collaboration is a delicious Yam + Coconut Soup crafted with well-roasted yams and garlic; light coconut milk for creaminess and a hint of citrus and chili. Ireland says the recipe was inspired by a love of yam fries and her commitment to a plant-based diet, which she adopted after learning about its many benefits.
A lowered carbon footprint is just one of advantages of a plant-based diet. Plants are also known to cure — the more plants you eat, the lower the chances of disease forming in the body. In fact, they can even reverse symptoms of major degenerative diseases like heart disease and diabetes.
Ireland is well-known, not only for her widely-followed food blog and Instagram feed, but for her mindful-themed gatherings in the city, like Mindful Movie Night, a collaboration with The Juice Truck, and most recently, Mindful Book Club, a project with Dr. Genieve Burley that hopes to inspire the reading of environment and plant-based-diet focused books.
Expanding on their plant-based (vegan) soup selection is an integral piece to the growth of the product line that kitskitchen™ is committed to. Inspired by the Mindful Series and Ireland herself, they cannot be more thrilled to introduce this mindful soup.
